My Philosophy :
About me:
In my experience both Doctors and patients try to rationalize pain that they can't figure out. The Doctor may try to convince the patient that it's all in their head, or perhaps that it's emotional. They cover up the symptoms with medication or steroid injections. They will do Surgery and when it fails and show someone x-rays and tell them nothing is wrong. Often times what is wrong is in the soft tissues and it pre-dates the surgery. Patients have often been heard to say they thought they were "just getting old" or "just broken" and that "this is the way things are now". I beg to disagree. Maybe I'm just stubborn that way; that getting so much push back only serves to drive me. Eventually it led me to the truth, and the truth of who I am: a Renegade.

I was trained at Southampton Hospital's integrated Family Medicine and Neuro- Musculoskeletal Medicine program. My first Job was with Foundation Medical Partners, and it was there that I founded a new specialty service. It was not long (after starting specialty practice) before the shortcomings of conventional Osteopathic Manipulation became readily apparent. I had to become the physician that my patients needed. I was failing them, for many of them I was their last option, so failure was not something I could entertain.
A daunting quest began: I learned from anyone I could: some of the best... I scoured every tome looking for answers; I began to question everything I thought I knew. The truth was that wisdom was buried by dogma. The truth was in pursuing what worked and discarding what didn't, and in understanding why some things worked and where others fell short. I began learning from my PATIENTS, and the answers have been coming in steadily ever since.

Renegade Osteopathy is a new system I developed in Osteopathic manipulation that incorporates traditional tenants of Osteopathic manipulation with advanced soft tissue work as well as integrated understanding of fascial trains and muscle firing patterns. It produces results untenable with any other form of manual manipulation .
